Hi, Thanks for checking out our Home on Glen Lake! We wish we could be there every week, but since we cannot we hope you can come and love it as much as we do. THE CALENDAR IS NOW OPEN FOR WINTER 2020-2021. Winter rentals are available for those interested in participating in the fun winter activities around the area such as snowmobiling or skiing at nearby West Mountain (15 minutes) or Gore Mountain (45 minutes). We are NOT currently accepting reservations for Summer 2021. Please check back in January 2021 -- our kids will have picked their times and we will make the rest available to rent. Please note that Glen Lake has many homes lining the lake and they are close to one another. Our neighbors on both sides are elderly, full time residents. They love to see and hear kids outside having fun in the lake, but our house is definitely not the best place for groups that wish to have large late-night parties. You'll feel as though you are way out in the woods, but the fun of Great Escape Park and Lake George are only a few miles away. Our home has everything you will need for a wonderful family vacation including four kayaks, a canoe, a pedal-boat and a stand-up paddleboard. With so much to do in the area, all you need to do is bring your energy! The lake front is wide and has a gentle slope into the lake for great swimming and water play. You can even bring your own small power boat and keep it at our dock. We love to roast marshmallows and make s'mores so we have a fire-pit on the lake front for outdoor fires. Our home has two upstairs bedrooms, one with king bed and one with two twins and a futon. Please be aware that to reach the second upstairs bedroom you need to go through the corner of the front bedroom. We provide a folding screen that can be used to provide more privacy. Please also note that there is NO UPSTAIRS BATHROOM. There is also a small downstairs bedroom with one twin. One full and one half bath are on the main level. We love to cook, so the kitchen is fully outfitted. There is a wonderful deck with covered picnic table, gas grill and outstanding views.

The 3 mile long Glen Lake is the home of this waterfront cottage. We are a short drive from exit 20 off Interstate 87. We offer comfortable accommodations for six. There is a full kitchen and a large screened in front porch overlooking the lake with gorgeous views of the nightly sunset. Other amenities include a boathouse with a row boat, paddle boat and dock space for additional boats. Glen Lake offers excellent fishing and boating. You can also enjoy swimming at our sandy beach. The cottage is fully furnished along with cable TV, linens and kitchen supplies to name a few. We are located minutes from Lake George, 30 minutes to Saratoga (horse racing track and Racino), close to numerous shopping outlets, a bike trail to Lake George and Fort Edward and the Great Escape Amusement Park is so close you can practically see it. A place to get away and still be close to everything you want and need. The primary renter must be 25 years of age or older. No exceptions. We cannot accommodate pets, so please do not ask !

Feel like you are in the middle of the Adirondacks yet shopping and attractions are only minutes away. This historic stone cabin is located along a dead end road. Surrounded by mountains and water it is very private. The cabin offers wonderful lake views. There is a screened in porch overlooking the lake, a wonderful place to start your day. Then go down the stairs to your private lake front and take a swim. The lake is great for swimming, fishing and boating. While the water off the dock is shallow with a sandy bottom it gets deeper so you can jump in off the end of the dock. After a lovely day at the lake, have diner on the outdoor patio and relax in front of the campfire. What a perfect day in the Adirondacks! Want to do something else tomorrow? Just check out the local chamber of commerce web site. There are amusement parks, outlet shopping, museums, malls, restaurants, hiking, white water rafting, horseback riding, etc. We are sure you will have a great time. Glen Lake: Glen Lake is approximately 3 miles long. The cabin is located in the deeper wider sections of the lake. There are two islands, the larger one has a lighthouse and cabin. There is a restaurant on the opposite side of the lake 'The Docksider'. The fishing is wonderful. There is a wetland, swamp area at the inflow of the lake which is full of wildlife and birds. The view from the cabin is of Prospect Mountain, French Mountain and the other mountains separating Glen Lake from Lake George. The water is comfortable and great for swimming and activities. Most of the homes along the lake are year round and it tends to be very quite during the week, especially during the day. It is truly a beautiful place to be. The cabin: The cabin was built during the 1930's. It is very lovely and surrounded by woods tucked into the side of the hill. The cabin is located on the same property as the owners home. The driveway is shared but the landscaping very nicely separates the two. You have your own private swimming area. It is wooded on either side of the swim area (no one has a beach or swim area right next to you). The view from the screened in porch is breath taking. Welcome to our attached guest house/MIL apartment! Relax in a comfortable space with private entrances, deck, and one-car garage. Inside, find a bedroom with a full-size bed, a full bathroom, fully outfitted kitchen, and living room/ dining room with a fireplace. The living room also has a full-size futon with a firm mattress which we can set up as a bed for you. We live in the other half of the house, but your space is your own - the door and garage are equipped with key-code access for your convenience. It is 13 minutes to the West Mountain Ski slopes, and the Great Escape Amusement Park is only 3 minutes away. Many stores and restaurants are even closer, but the house is on a wooded residential street. Sorry, but ... NO CABLE TV NO A/C NO PARTIES NO GUESTS NO PETS NO SMOKING NO DRUGS NO EXCEPTIONS.
